About This Coolant Bleeder Screw

This genuine OEM Land Rover bleeder screw is used on the engine cooling system to purge trapped air after a coolant drain, refill, or component replacement. It fits a wide range of 2005–2023 Land Rover and Range Rover models, from the LR3 and LR4 through the current Defender, Range Rover, and Range Rover Sport.

Part number LR055301 supersedes LR007314 and is the current Land Rover replacement for the earlier screw. Fits all trims on most listed models, including LR3, LR4, Discovery 5, Defender, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar, and Range Rover Evoque — see the fitment table below for engine-specific coverage. On Velar and Evoque, applies only where an expansion tank with this bleeder valve is specified.
