About This Coil Pack Relocation Kit

This coil pack relocation kit moves the ignition coil packs off the factory valley-mount position on the 4.0L and 4.6L V8 engines used in the Land Rover Discovery Series II and Range Rover P38, relocating them to a cooler, more accessible spot on the engine bay to reduce the heat-related coil failures common to the factory mounting location.

This is a Used Aftermarket kit, part# ThorCPRK, that replaces the factory Land Rover coil pack, OEM #ERR6045. The relocated mounting position also allows for easier coil pack and wire swaps down the road. The kit includes a used NGK 58404 spark plug wire set. It fits all trims across both the 4.0L V8 and 4.6L V8 engine variants on the applicable model years. Note: this listing covers the P38-generation Range Rover (2000–2002) only — it does not fit the redesigned L322 Range Rover that followed in 2003.
