Each Land Rover engine undergoes a rigorous inspection and preparation process, including:

Test running the engine prior to dismantling the truck.

Removal of the Oil Pan to disassemble and clean the oil pump, oil pick up, and screen.

Checking the main and rod bearings for any abnormal wear.

Re-sealing the oil pan.

A leak test is performed on the Cylinder Head and the Cylinders are scoped to check for any imperfections.

A Timing Chain and Tensioner Kit is installed as well as a New Valve Cover Gasket, Front and Rear Main Seal, New Water Pump and New Spark Plugs.

Engine is completely detailed.

All openings are Capped to eliminate contamination during shipping.

Roverlandparts.com engines come with a 6 Month warranty from the original date of purchase. The warranty covers the engine under normal operating conditions. The engine is guaranteed against engine knock and excessive oil use. The warranty does not cover installation errors, oil leaks or the labor costs associated with them. Disassembly and over heating voids warranty.

We recommend drop shipping your engine to the shop or facility that will be performing the installation. Loaded with an engine, these crates can weigh up to 500 pounds.
A complete Land Rover engine assembly from Roverlandparts.com, excludes accessories such as: Starter, Alternator, AC Compressor, and Power Steering Pump and Flywheel.
When shipping our engines, Roverland Parts leaves the used fuel injectors installed on the engine in order to keep out contamination. Please note, we recommend strongly that the fuel injectors be replaced, as we do not warranty their condition.
No core deposit is required, if the original engine is returned to Roverlandparts.com within 30 days. Roverlandparts.com will pay all return shipping expenses. After installing the new engine, call Roverlandparts.com to arrange for pickup of the original engine. Please note, the engine must be returned in the original wooden shipping crate. For international customers or US Based customers, if core returns are not feasible or available, please call or email for core deposit amount.. Failure to return the core will void the warranty.
