Both Roverlandparts.com and Land Rover dealers recommend complete transmission replacement rather than repair or rebuild. Transmission repair shops may attempt to fix faulty units, but often cannot source the correct internal parts until disassembly, which leads to delays and added costs.
The transmission cooler and lines must be replaced during installation. Failure to do so may result in serious transmission damage, which is not covered under warranty.
All transmissions are securely shipped in custom wooden crates designed to function as pallets. These crates fully enclose the unit for protection during transport. Unlike standard pallet wrapping, our method prevents transit-related damage.
No core charge will apply if the original transmission is returned within 30 days in the original wooden crate. Roverlandparts.com covers the return shipping cost.
