Both Roverlandparts.com and Land Rover Dealers recommend the complete replacement of a faulty Land Rover transmission. Repair or rebuild attempts are not advised, as finding compatible parts is difficult and usually only discovered once the unit has been disassembled.
The manufacturer requires the replacement of the transmission cooler and lines during installation. Failure to do so may result in catastrophic failure, and this will not be covered by RL Parts INC.
All transmissions are shipped in new custom crates designed to function as pallets. These crates are fully enclosed to protect your transmission during transit.
Note: Many auto part companies ship transmissions strapped to a pallet and covered in cardboard. Our packaging offers superior protection.
There is no core charge if your original Land Rover transmission is returned to Roverlandparts.com within 30 days.
Roverlandparts.com will pay all return shipping expenses.
After installing the new unit, call Roverlandparts.com to schedule a pickup of the original transmission.
The core must be returned in the original wooden shipping crate.
