Roverland sells only
Professionally Rebuilt Transmissions.
We offer a 6 month guarantee on all of our transmissions.
At Roverland, we take every Land Rover Transmission to a local ZF Distributor for professional rebuilding. ZF is the original transmission manufacturer for Land Rovers, so each transmission is rebuilt to factory specs, including:
1) Complete disassembly, including pumps, drums, planetaries, shafts, etc.
2) Thorough inspection and cleaning of all parts.
3) Replacement of the filter, pan gasket, front, rear seals, and any other parts as neeed.
4) Resealing and air testing.
5) Cleaning and painting the exterior.
6) Capping all air sensitive openings.
Both Roverland and Land Rover Dealers recommend the complete replacement of a faulty Land Rover transmissions. Neither Roverland nor Land Rover Dealers recommend attempting to repair or rebuild a faulty transmission. A transmission shop may attempt the repair, but will have a hard time finding the right parts. Unfortunately, they won't find this out until the transmission has been disassembled.

Shipping: All of our Land Rover transmissions are shipped in new custom crates that are designed to operate as a pallet. They are fully enclosed in order to protect the Land Rover transmissions against the hazards of shipping. Many auto part companies will ship transmissions strapped to a pallet and covered in cardboard.
Please note, transmissions are oversized items and will be shipped Freight Collect via FedEx Freight.
Roverland has arranged a 66% discount on FedEx Freight charges. This means your freight bill will be 33% of the regular price.
No shipping charges are collected by Roverland Parts. Buyer pays all shipping charges directly to the FedEx Freight driver when the item is received.

We recommend drop shipping your new transmission to the shop or facility that will be performing the installation. Loaded with a transmission, these crates can weigh up to 500 pounds.
Core Notice: No core deposit is required, if the original Land Rover transmission is returned to Roverland within 30 days. Roverland will pay all return shipping expenses. After installing the new transmission, call Roverland to arrange for pickup of the original transmission. Please note, the transmission must be returned in the original wooden shipping crate.
